AMT, we are a cutting-edge start-up specializing in
advanced manufacturing
of high-performance alloy components. With an
integrated engineering approach, we deliver innovative
solutions
from design to high-volume production for international clients across various industries.
To support our growing operations, we are looking for a talented and curious toolmaker who wants to develop their skills. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a
flexible, family-friendly work arrangement
and a long-term role in a dynamic, innovative environment where they can apply their experience and help us shape tooling and processes around a new sintering technology. Sounds interesting? Our
international team
is looking forward to meeting you.
Key Responsibilities
CNC Technology & Design for Manufacturing: Build and further develop Design for Manufacturing (DfM) expertise for CNC finishing of sintered components. Design and optimize tooling concepts for MIM (Metal Injection Molding) processes and downstream sintering post-processing. Plan, program, and optimize CNC machining strategies for complex precision parts in-house or with our partners. Select, implement, and further develop suitable CAM tools to meet the specific requirements of sintered components.
3D Printing and Sintering: Operate industrial 3D printing hardware as well as sintering and post-processing equipment with our team. Develop smart tools and fixtures to enhance our capacity and yield along the complete manufacturing process.
Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Help us install, configure, and maintain machines such as 3D printers, injection molding systems, and industrial furnaces. Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Quality Control & Reporting: Perform dimensional checks, material tests, and surface inspections. Document operations, maintenance activities, and process parameters. Collaborate with quality assurance to address nonconformities.
Qualifications
Required: Strong hands-on experience in
CNC machining (milling and/or turning), ideally in precision manufacturing environments. Solid understanding of
tool design, cutting tool selection, fixture design, and machining strategies. Experience in
CAD,
CNC programming and CAM systems (e.g., toolpath generation, post-processing, machine setup). Ability to optimize machining parameters for complex geometries, tight tolerances, and sintered materials. Practical experience with machine setup, alignment, calibration, and troubleshooting Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine assembly. Ability to
read, interpret and produce technical drawings, GD&T specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Strong command of English is a must, as we are working in a multi-national environment.
