Role Description
AsIT Manager, you will oversee and manage all information technology operations across the resort, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient systems that support both guest experience and internal operations. You will be responsible for maintaining all IT infrastructure, leading technology‑related projects, ensuring data security, and providing strategic guidance on future technology needs.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department and the performance of all IT systems
Ensuring the reliability, security, and integrity of networks, servers, and data storage
Managing hardware, software, and system installations, upgrades, and configurations
Providing timely support to all departments and resolving technical issues efficiently
Maintaining and improving cybersecurity measures, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
Managing PMS, POS, telephony, Wi‑Fi, and all hotel-related systems and interfaces
Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers
Monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for optimization
Implementing technology standards in line with company policies and industry best practices
Preparing and managing the IT budget and technology investment planning
Training staff on IT policies, systems, and best practices
Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal security protocols
Supporting senior management with technology‑related strategy and improvements
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as IT Manager or senior IT role in luxury hospitality or a similar environment
Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cybersecurity, and hotel systems (Opera PMS, POS, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot diverse hardware and software issues
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
High level of reliability, discretion, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Fluent in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus)
Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering high‑quality support

Location: Venice, Italy –Based on San Clemente Island, Venice (daily boat transfers required)
Type of work: Full time
Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periods
You must possess the legal right to work in Italy
