You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers, and you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liOperationally responsible for a Data Center. /li liPrioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators. /li liManage the performance of a diverse team(s) of data center operation professionals with varying skills across different locations. /li liDevelop career paths for employees and make updates in internal tools. /li liRecruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels. /li liEnsure effective and efficient management of day‑to‑day data center operations including queue management, 24 / 7 shift arrangement and hardware logistics. /li liAct as a subject matter expert across all aspects of data center operations. /li liEnsure all operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met. /li liInspire and guide improvement in team processes, technology innovation and automation. /li liManage large‑scale events (outages) and act as the call leader. /li liImprove workflows and throughput for data center operations. /li liRecommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs. /li liMaintain the on‑call schedule coordinating absences and vacations. /li liBe passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided, continuously striving to improve the customer experience. /li /ul pThis role supports data centers in various operational stages.
