As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and ongoing process improvements. The role reports to the Financial Controller manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the preparation of the monthly US GAAP reporting package, including tax reporting
* Continuously assess and improve the monthly close process to reduce timelines and increase efficiency
* Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and manage internal and external review processes
* Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases
* Create and maintain an accounting calendar to ensure timely completion of key deliverables, including the financial close and Group Board package
* Maintain accounting policy documentation to drive clarity and consistency
* Assist with the coordination of annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors
* Maintain internal reporting procedures to comply with control requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
* 2+ years of Audit experience with US public companies or similar roles in US companies
* Fluent in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
* Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with the ability to research and present positions on complex accounting topics
* Experience working with international accounting standards and issue resolution
* Strong execution skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow through and document thoroughly
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
