Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Planner Buyer is responsible for deploying and executing the best Procurement Strategy in relation to allocated materials and components required for the Production process.
Your day-to-day
- Work in close cooperation with Manufacturing, Finance, Quality and Customer Service teams to optimize costs, quality and lead time of allocated products and components
- Ensure the Production plan meets Customers' demand and monitor its execution
- Assist and support Procurement team in Suppliers’ management
- Enter data into the system for purchaising activities
- Track purchases and status of orders and deliveries
- Release purchase orders
- Monitor quality and timeliness of materials and goods
- Focuse primarily on current suppliers for current product lines
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience
- Good knowledge of Italian and English
Ideally, you will also have
- Knowledge of French or German is a plus
- Prior experience with JDE is also a plus
