As a Program Operation Specialist at UPS you manage the relationship with our key customers. This is to ensure we meet our contractual commitments, follow procedures and motivate the internal teams to deliver results. You are truly the trusted advisor towards the customer and the internal teams.
What You’ll Do
A Program Operation Specialist is the primary day‑to‑day contact for key accounts requiring a structured approach, which manages processes and projects to provide clients with the right service on time within agreed contractual terms & conditions and within organizational resource limitations.
These individuals work with members of senior staff in the client organization as well as other functional groups in UPS Supply Chain Solutions to deliver enhanced customer satisfaction whilst fulfilling internal strategic and business goals.
Program Operation Specialists are expected to act as the customer advocate and trusted business advisor. They manage a group of projects, people and resources across business units, functions, geographies and product offerings in a fully integrated fashion to ensure UPS SCS’ globally managed accounts receive a bundled solution valued as a world class client experience delivering ease of doing business through a unified approach geared around client strategic and financial targets.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent, preferably with concentrations in industrial engineering, supply chain management or business administration.
- Minimum 5 years Supply Chain Management experience.
- Excellent Negotiation skills.
- Customer focus & relationship building skills.
- Program management (ability to drive the process, coordinate resources & deliver the promised outcome on time & on budget).
- Project Management Skills.
