Dolzago (LC): Production Operator – Seasonal (3–8 months)
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our Semilavorati department for a seasonal contract of a minimum of 3 months, up to a maximum of 8 months.
Responsibilities
* Operate the transformation plant for raw materials, including:
o Control process parameters, valve opening, and pressure to maintain product specifications (e.g., polenta pre‑cooking, chamomile sifting, and mixing).
o Release machines blocked by material (e.g., flour).
o Perform periodic quality checks of the product during production.
o Record quality check results on checklists.
o Receive incoming goods, collect shipment documents, and conduct sampling.
o Clean the plant (blowing, vacuuming, high‑pressure washing).
o Operate forklifts to move pallets and support other production lines.
o Assist packaging lines.
o Perform material handling using forklifts or pallet jacks.
* Handle chamomile production tasks:
o Move loads and goods manually or with pallet trucks.
o Fill production records with weights, lot numbers, and supplier details.
o Perform quality checks of blended batches and fill associated checklists.
o Disassemble and clean equipment (vacuum and blow‑dry).
o Weight ingredients, mix, and load the product into machines.
o Use radio‑frequency scanner to verify material handling and return of packaging and raw materials, and to record final product transfer into the warehouse.
Qualifications
* At least one year of experience operating production or mixing equipment.
* Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industry.
* Willingness to work on shifts.
* Fluent Italian.
Preferred Qualifications
* Forklift licence for operation of forklifts.
* Knowledge of safety regulations.
* Knowledge of HACCP food safety regulations.
Shift Schedule
* Three‑shift operation (40 hours weekly) or dual shift depending on department.
* Morning shift: 06:00 – 13:30 (30‑minute break after shift).
* Afternoon shift: 13:30 – 21:00 (30‑minute break at shift start).
* Night shift: 21:00 – 04:30.
