About the Team Georgia-Pacific Monticello is a fully integrated containerboard mill with 450 employees, benefiting from extensive capital investment. Located an hour south of Jackson, MS, and northwest of Hattiesburg, MS, it offers tremendous growth potential within a rapidly expanding organization. Key Responsibilities Lead maintenance and reliability efforts to ensure sustainable and improved operational results. Engage and commit maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to support operational excellence. Develop and implement strategies to minimize downtime, improve equipment availability, and maximize asset utilization. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs in collaboration with teams. Analyze data and collaborate with experts to mitigate critical failure modes. Lead root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives for recurring failures. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration. Promote disciplined operations aligned with the mill’s vision for sustainable manufacturing. Basic Qualifications Minimum of 10 years supervisory / management experience in manufacturing, military, or industrial maintenance environments. Experience managing and developing salaried leaders. Proven track record in reliability and maintenance improvement efforts. At least 5 years of experience in maintaining facilities, mechanical, and electrical equipment. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with ability to learn reporting systems. Experience with Root Cause Analysis and predictive maintenance techniques. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP). Experience in Asset Strategy Development.
