JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Mission: Provide a comprehensive understanding of the construction costs related to different concepts, brands, geographies and give strategic support to the decision-making process with real-time data process and analysis. Challenges: Collect the huge amount of data available on different database and filled by multiple stakeholders, defining and efficient way to harmonize, keep-up to date and share the most relevant ones, in order to identify the more promising cost control strategies and delivering innovation where and when required. Success Factors: Main success factors are related to the capability of tracking the cost of 100% of construction initiatives and have available aggregate construction costs breakdown for all concepts & geographies in real time. As team contribution his role is essential to keep flat the cost increase due to new concept implementation. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES Work in close conjunction with other teams to develop a single CAPEX mapping tool Draft, populate & keep up to date a single dashboard where to visualize the most important cost trends Manager the Tender for General Contractor and / or Millwork for the EMEA Roll-Out Identify risk & share alerts for not-expected deviations from baseline costs NETWORK OF INTERACTION INTERNAL Within Design & Construction EMEA : interact with PM, Procurement, R&D unit on a daily basis Interact with Concept Design, Design exécution, Construction, planning, Procurement, Finance Re on a weekly basis Randomly intearct with IT, LOSS PREVENTION, BRANDS, RISC, VMs (based on specific needs) EXTERNAL Full set of Nextore providers, with focus on Designers, Consultants, GCs, Millworker, Construction Material suppliers TECHNICAL SKILLS Educational Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Construction). 5 years degree is a plus. Specific experience with Cost Comparison activities and Cost Estimate. Relationship with suppliers and Contractors before / during / after the Tender Phase. At least years of experience in Detail Design and / or Work Supervision and / or Construction project management out of which 1 in Retail Store Development context in one or more of the following positions : designer, GC, client) Solid experience with CAD, OFFICE&EXCEL, software packages. Experience with usage of Procurement platforms is a nice to have. Solid experience in Construction Cost monitoring / estimates is a must. Capability to provide numeric analysis and reports is required. Experience in International environment. Past experience in North America environment is a plus.
