Overview
Carpigiani, founded in Bologna in 1946, is a world leader in artisanal gelato machines. Since 1989 it has been part of Ali Group, a major global provider of professional catering equipment. In 2003 the Carpigiani Gelato University was established, now with 23 locations worldwide and about 5,000 students annually, 70% from abroad.
Position
We are looking for an SAP Expert in the Controlling (CO) and Finance (FI) modules of SAP ECC 6.0 to support the IT department. The role is for an industrial/manufacturing environment. This position focuses on business support, user relationships, new application development, and AMS.
Responsibilities
* Support users
* Participate in the development of IT projects in the CO and FI areas and implement customizations as required
* Perform minor system customizations, including those on SAP modules not explicitly requested
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Engineering/Computer Science with a managerial focus (preferred but not mandatory)
* Strong knowledge of the CO and FI modules and ability to customize the system
* Collaborative working attitude with various company departments
* Good written and spoken English
* Willingness to travel for brief assignments to the group’s international branches
