I am recruiting for a Senior Analog Mixed Signal IC Engineer to join my client’s team in Milan. My client is moving from research into product development and is looking for a senior engineer who can take prototype silicon through validation and into production.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the transition of IC designs from prototype silicon to production ready devices
* Support multiple tapeouts and advise on design robustness for manufacturing
* Lead silicon bring up, validation and characterisation activities
* Define test plans, performance metrics and validation strategies
* Debug silicon issues, perform failure analysis and recommend design fixes
* Work with IC design teams to optimise circuits and improve yield
* Build lab methods and evaluation setups for silicon testing
* Support production readiness including test strategy and foundry engagement
* Collaborate with firmware and system engineers for IC integration
* Mentor engineers and promote best practice in validation and documentation
Requirements:
* Several years of experience in analog or mixed signal IC development
* Proven experience with several silicon tapeouts and post silicon validation
* Strong hands-on skills in silicon bring up, debugging and characterisation
* Deep understanding of analog circuit behaviour
* Experience with yield analysis and preparing ICs for production ramp
* Practical problem-solving mindset and strong laboratory skills
Individuals must be willing to work in Milan 2 to 3 days per week and must not require visa sponsorship.
