Interim Chief Financial Officer Pharma / CDMO We are supporting a private equity backed pharmaceutical CDMO organisation seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to support the business through an important phase of operational and strategic development. Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, the successful candidate will provide strong financial leadership across a complex, highly regulated manufacturing environment while ensuring the finance function is positioned to support the organisation’s continued growth. This role will operate at the centre of the leadership team, providing strategic guidance while maintaining robust financial governance, visibility and operational insight. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic financial leadership to the CEO and board Lead financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting across the organisation Strengthen financial governance, controls and reporting frameworks Partner closely with operational and commercial leadership teams Support investment planning, capital allocation and strategic initiatives Drive improvements in financial insight, reporting capability and decision-making processes Support the evolution of the finance function through automation, advanced analytics and digital finance tools Candidate Profile This role requires an experienced finance leader with strong sector expertise and the ability to operate effectively within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner to the CEO and board Strong track record leading finance within regulated manufacturing environments Experience overseeing financial strategy, governance and organisational performance Ability to translate data and technology investments into measurable commercial and operational value Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages would be advantageous Must be able to travel flexibly throughout Europe as required Location: Flexible Contract: Interim/6 Months+ Closing date for applications: 19/03/2026
