Develop and execute verification and validation plans, including test case development and execution. Check DTC information, DID, IO Routines, OnBoard Routines, reset ECU, set and heal DTCs. Conduct OBD reviews of design changes affecting OBD compliance. Understand OBD certification process and CARB submission for OBD modules; prepare certification documentation. Prepare and update DTC matrix and Diagnostic Definition Table (DDT). Conduct design FMEA for control logic changes if needed. Create requirements for algorithms in engine/transmission/hybrid software. Establish and execute design verification plans for control logic development. Conduct requirement analysis. Develop Controls DVP. Perform functional validation. Execute testing methodologies: unit, integration, system, user acceptance, and performance testing. Required Skills Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded C (MIL/SIL, V-model, Agile development). Experience with HIL test validation (dSpace Control desk). Experience with On-Board Diagnostics; knowledge of OBD I and II control algorithms/calibration is advantageous. Minimum B2 fluency in Italian and English. Knowledge of automotive electronic communication standards ISO-14229, ISO-15765, UDS protocol, J1979. Familiarity with diagnostic tools like STLA diagnostic tools, CDA, SCAN tool. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, especially CAN. Understanding of DTC CAN/fault matrix, DVPNR, CARB documentation. Awareness of U-Codes diagnostics improvements and robustness. Experience handling customer activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills INCA, CDA, CANoe, UDS. ETAS, Vector, DOORS, ALM, Unipro.
