About Hubbers
Hubbers is a global innovation ecosystem where creators, experts, and dreamers come together to shape sustainable futures.
From AI-powered SaaS tools to purpose-led communities, events, and collaborative brands, our work is deeply rooted in the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We believe real change happens when communities become the driving force behind innovation.
At Hubbers, we don’t just hire — we co-create.
About the Role
We’re looking for part-time collaborators ready to bring sustainable design thinking, creativity, and circular fashion practices into real-world projects. As a Sustainable Fashion Contributor, you’ll contribute to the creation of eco-conscious collections, explore innovative materials, and help shape ethical fashion systems that are both practical and visionary.
This role is part of a much larger vision. At Hubbers, we're building a global ecosystem where innovation is decentralized, community-powered, and aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Our ecosystem includes multiple digital products, AI-powered tools, and a growing network of collaborative brands — ventures co-created and operated by contributors across our communities. These include corporate innovation projects, fashion startups using our tools to build sustainable products, and a number of in-house collaborative brands being developed under a DAO-driven model. One of these brands focuses specifically on sustainable accessories for digital nomads, where circular design, functionality, and ethical production intersect.
As a Sustainable Fashion Designer/Specialist, you’ll work at the intersection of ethical design, material innovation, and systems thinking — helping shape the garments, processes, and values that define this new collaborative economy.
Sounds like a lot? Don’t worry — many of our collaborators started by exploring our culture, tools, and community practices. A number of them began with a learning phase at IGS – the Impact Generator School – to build alignment and lay the groundwork for long-term, purpose-driven collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Design circular systems for In-house brands (e.g. reuse, upcycling, rental models)
Develop eco-conscious fashion concepts and collections
Prototype using sustainable materials and low-impact methods
Craft brand storytelling around sustainability values
Conduct market research and user discovery for product-market fit
Organize events, workshops, or content around sustainable fashion practices
This role can grow with you. Many start with flexible, project-based involvement — with more defined roles emerging through shared purpose, trust, and contribution.
Who You Are
A creative thinker with hands-on experience in sustainable fashion
Knowledgeable in circular design, materials, and ethical production
Comfortable prototyping using sustainable materials or tools
Interested in regenerative design, storytelling, and community engagement
Fluent in English, and ideally another language
Collaborative, self-directed, and aligned with purpose-driven work
Why Hubbers?
Be part of a globally inclusive innovation movement
Gain access to practical learning, tools, and collective intelligence
Help shape community-led brands and tools
Collaborate with an international team of creatives and changemakers
Participate in projects, programs, and experiences designed for long-term growth
One size doesn’t fit all — and this isn’t a one-track, monotonous role. Some collaborators begin through projects, others through learning pathways. Each journey is intentional and often leads to long-term, impactful collaboration.
Compensation & Time
5 to 10 hours per week
Compensation is project-based and experience-aligned
Compensation and engagement in high-impact projects evolve as your alignment and contributions deepen. Many collaborators begin with flexible, project-based involvement — with more defined roles unfolding over time through trust, shared purpose, and meaningful impact.
This isn’t just a fashion design job — it’s an opportunity to help redefine how fashion is created, used, and valued.
If you’re excited to co-create at the intersection of sustainability, creativity, and impact — we’re excited to meet you.
Let’s design what matters.
