Are you passionate about pet care and have a keen eye for detail? We're seeking a Grooming Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and professional individual eager to help pets look and feel their best.
As a Grooming Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our team, working alongside professional groomers and, on occasion, our veterinary staff. You will gain hands‐on experience and develop skills in various aspects of pet grooming and animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform essential grooming tasks, including nail trimming, ear cleaning, and bathing and drying of pets.
* Provide support to professional groomers as needed.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
* Safely handle animals of various sizes and temperaments.
Qualifications:
* Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required.
* Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Must have the physical capability to lift and carry animals of various sizes.
Compensation and Benefits:
$500.00 onboarding signing bonus paid in three installments:
$100.00 on 1st paycheck/$150.00 upon completion of training/ $250.00 6 months post‐training
$15.50 to $16.00 per hour.
