Role Description
Mechanical Design & Industrialization Engineer with experience in the development of devices, tooling, equipment, machine components, complete machines and industrial systems. Involved throughout the entire project lifecycle — from concept and detailed design to manufacturing follow-up, with strong focus on industrialization.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical design of devices, tooling, machine parts, complete machines and industrial plants
* Creation of general assembly drawings and detailed part drawings
* Requesting and technically evaluating supplier quotations
* Following up manufacturing activities at machine shops and suppliers
* Following up assembly activities
* Providing technical support during commissioning and start-up phases
* Cross-functional collaboration with and other internal stakeholders (electrical and automation engineers, purchasing office, production, and maintenance) and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills
* Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar fields
* At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Design & Industrialization Engineer or similar roles
* Advanced knowledge of 3D Modelling and 3D software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge 3D)
* Basic knowledge of ENT (Engineering Technology) system
* Knowledge of machining processes and machine tools
* Basic knowledge of pneumatics and basic control systems
* Basic knowledge of statistical methods for process control
* Quality-oriented and reliability-driven design approach
* Italian mother tongue and good knowledge of English
* Availability of short business trips
