Sorint.lab S.P.A., an Italian company with extensive experience as an IT consulting firm for major national and international clients, is seeking to hire a Database Administrator.
The work will be performed with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements, so candidates residing near our offices in Milan, Rome, Bergamo, Turin, Padua, or Lecce are preferred.
The candidate will join an IT Database team (Oracle-oriented) as part of an initiative to expand the team, focusing on international delivery and operations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience or equivalent and will be responsible for the installation, configuration, management, maintenance, updates, and monitoring of Oracle databases.
The role includes:
1. Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
2. System configuration activities.
3. Applying patches and upgrades.
4. Monitoring and log analysis.
5. Incident management through troubleshooting procedures and techniques.
6. Technical skills in Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, GoldenGate, Backup and Recovery.
7. Problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within the team.
A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is not mandatory but highly appreciated.
