To support the expansion of MSC Air Cargo, we are seeking a highly motivated Cargo Operations Manager Europe (COME). This role ensures safe, secure, and compliant cargo operations across European stations, aligning with the strategic direction set by the GCOD.
YOUR IMPACT
Oversee cargo operations across European stations, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and compliant ground handling.
Implement and monitor KPIs and SLAs in coordination with the GCOD.
Lead and mentor a diverse regional team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensure adherence to MAC SOPs and regulatory requirements, including safety and security standards.
Drive continuous improvement through process development, CAPA management, and operational best practices.
Coordinate the launch of new cargo stations, including resource planning and regulatory engagement.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and government agencies.
Lead strategic regional projects and manage initiatives from planning to implementation.
YOUR BACKGROUND
10+ years in air cargo, including 5+ years in management roles.
Deep expertise in airline cargo operations, including AMCI, charter, and dedicated lift solutions.
Proven leadership across multi-station operations with strong organizational influence.
In-depth knowledge of air freight regulations, including security and dangerous goods.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Independent, solution-oriented, and quality-driven.
Willingness to travel globally;
fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and commercial negotiation skills.
Familiarity with cargo handling systems, ideally iCargo.
Skilled in drafting and negotiating IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreements.
