Job Description
We are supporting a renewable energy owner-developer in the appointment of a Junior HSE Officer to assist with health, safety, and environmental activities across development, construction, and operational sites.

Our client develops, builds, and operates renewable energy assets across Italy. Safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance are core to the organisation's delivery model.
The Role
Working under the guidance of the HSE Manager, the Junior HSE Officer will support the implementation and monitoring of HSE standards across multiple project sites, contributing to safe and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Support compliance with national HSE legislation across offices and construction sites.
* Assist with monitoring site safety performance and identifying improvement actions.
* Help implement HSE procedures across development, construction, and operational phases.
* Participate in incident, accident, and non-conformance investigations.
* Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and reporting.
* Coordinate closely with project teams, contractors, and site personnel.
Requirements
* Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.
* At least one year of experience supporting HSE activities on construction sites.
* Good understanding of Italian HSE regulations and site practices.
* Ability to carry out inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
* Working knowledge of English.
Desirable
* CSP/CSE qualification or assistant experience.
* NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
* Exposure to ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 systems.
