We are currently seeking a Process Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of Utilities to join the team based in Rome.
About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:
* Analyse project specifications, tender and proposals requirements.
* Contribute to the development of design parameters and methodologies.
* Prepare technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost & time effective discipline engineering analysis and solutions for approval:
* Design basis
* Process description
* PFD’s and heat & material balance
* MSD and material selection philosophy
* Control scheme
* Process and Utility P&ID’s
* Equipment & instrumentation Datasheet
* Utilities and chemicals consumption summaries
* Simulations and calculations
1. Provide support to all project activities, from engineering to start-up, as required.
2. Interface with other process engineering disciplines and design team(s).
3. Assist in the development of a process knowledge databasis for studies, projects &/or operations (capturing and reporting events & experiences within studies, projects & operations and writing technical notes).
4. Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
5. Report own activities within studies, projects &/or operations management.

* Qualifications: Chemical Engineering degree (Master's degree)
* Languages: English Fluent
Main Skills:
* Theoretical knowledge of process design methods & tools.
* Computer skills: MS-office tools, Process Simulators
* Ability to work in a multinational environment
* Availability to move abroad on a short or long-term basis
* Attitude to problem solving and working in a team
Experiences in: projects, Previous Jobs
Languages: Indicate a secondary language and proficiency expected level, only if English is insufficient to perform the job.
