Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish) including technical dictionary will be a plusMust be familiar with planning and scheduling of activities for all aspects of EPC of major oil / gas plantsMust have the ability to read and interpret contract terms, conditions and specifications, knowledge of quality control and assurance functions, methods of progress measurements and verificationMust demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving and an ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environmentAttention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistenciesExcellent reading and language comprehensionAbility to work with a team at all levels of an organizationEffective ability to negotiate and execute contractsProven management and leadership skillsExceptional communication skills (oral and written)
Work Experience – Years of Experience
Must have experience in offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or power generation industries EPC contracts in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures etcMinimum 10 years' experience in major Oil / Gas projects in a similar position
Duties and Responsibilities
Working with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyse and solidify an overall contract strategyCoordinating actions with internal procurement and legal teams if neededReporting status of current contract processes to managementResolving any existing contract conflictsServing as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stagesNegotiating terms, conditions and pricing with internal and external partners, and ensuring they are accurately executed and satisfiedFollowing up to guarantee contractual payments have been madeAnalysing potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization
