Ph3Italy Senior Payroll Specialist /h3pWe are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support the Payroll Manager in all governance and control activities related to the Italian payroll, currently managed through an external provider. The role will act as an internal point of reference for all payroll‑related matters, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper management of information flows between the company and the payroll provider while working in close collaboration with the HR and Finance teams. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliCoordinate and supervise the external payroll provider for the Italian employee population (approximately 950 employees). /liliReview and validate payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy of salaries, contributions, taxes, and variable compensation. /liliManage and monitor monthly and annual payroll deadlines (payroll close, adjustments, tax certificates, annual filings, etc.). /liliVerify payroll reconciliations and support Finance with accounting reconciliations. /liliManage administrative requirements and communications with external authorities (INPS, INAIL, pension funds, tax authorities) in cooperation with the payroll provider. /liliProvide internal support and advisory on labor law and compensation‑related matters. /liliManage payroll aspects related to global mobility (expatriates, inpatriates, international assignments, shadow payroll) when required. /liliSupport internal and external audits and verification of regulatory compliance. /liliMonitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on payroll processes. /liliPrepare payroll and HR reporting. /li /ulh3What you need to succeed /h3pbEducation: /b High School Diploma or Degree (preferably in Economic field). /ppbProfessional experience: /b At least 10 years of experience in payroll, preferably in structured multinational organizations. /ppbLanguage: /b Fluent in Italian English, both written and spoken (mandatory requirement). /ppbSoft skills: /b /pulliExcellent team player with a strong collaborative attitude. /liliHigh level of reliability, professionalism, and sense of responsibility. /liliFlexibility and ability to work in complex, international environments. /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills. /liliProactive, solution‑oriented approach. /li /ulpbTechnical skills: /b /pulliStrong proficiency in Excel and main HR/payroll systems. /liliStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality‑oriented mindset. /li /ulpbOther: /b Must have solid experience in managing outsourced payroll and working with external providers; excellent knowledge of Italian payroll and labor and tax regulations; knowledge of international payroll and global mobility dynamics. /ppHaier Europe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
