Il Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for a Turnover Maintenance Technician with experience to be inserted into the Team. This figure handles ordinary and extraordinary maintenance at the Hotel, responding to the requests of guests and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in the role, with electrical field knowledge. Knowledge of Italian is required, while English knowledge represents an advantage. Full‐time contract with a fixed term. The role includes shift work, including weekends and public holidays. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Italy at the time of application. About the role Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for an experienced Shift Engineer to join the Team. The Shift Engineer diagnoses and provides service and repairs to hotel equipment and responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies. What you will do Implement and handle preventive maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs. Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building. Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas in a timely manner. Be familiar with all emergency procedures and respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc. Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel. Install or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary. Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel. Install electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and provide electrical set‐ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set‐ups. Where required assist with training to all department staff to ensure efficient operation, proper maintenance and repair to equipment. What you bring +1 year of experience in a similar position. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a can‐do approach to any request. Working technical knowledge of general building maintenance and basic ability to operate computer equipment. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian language.
