PpThe Network Engineer supports the engineering of network infrastructures, including the implementation and design of software and tools to support it, monitoring the performance of systems, and supporting troubleshooting for performance issues when they present. Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external network issues and provide recommendations to increase network performance and reliability. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection and implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. /p pKey responsibilities of the role will include: /p ul liDefines, analyses and manage network requirements for Network project deployments with special focus in load balancer. /li liConfiguration and management main Datacenter LAN technologies (Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Vmware NSX). /li liIdentifies proposal for network requirements fulfilment in Network deployments, supported by the other Units of the Network division (accounting for the services that each Units delivers to its customers within the Generali Group). /li liContributes to the network documental framework (policies, guidelines, technical measures, procedures, etc.). /li liActs as interface for network technical topics by Customers for the Network Division. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: /p ul liFunctional knowledge of networks, operative systems, security solutions (i.e. service designs, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, GRE, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, NAT, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, or packet analysis etc.). /li liStrong Routing and Switching knowledge; Cisco IOS and NX-OS. /li liCitrix Netscaler Application Delivery Control, Load Balancer and VPN Gateway. /li liGood knowledge Datacenter Lan technology ( Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, vmwareNSX). /li liSoftware Define WAN concepts ( es. Cisco Viptela and Cisco Meraki). /li liFunctional knowledge of Web application technologies. /li liMicrosoft Office suite usage (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). /li /ul pSoft Skills: /p pCommunication skills: In executing their duties, network engineers may be required to work in a team of engineers, or interface with clients serving as consultants to them.
