Our Manufacturing Plant located in Pioltello (Milan – Italy) is the European leader in the production of cables dedicated to Automation. Pioltello site spearheads the transformation of Automation Business Unit.
Purpose
The Automation BU and Site HR Manager is responsible for deploying and coordinating Automation and Site HR roadmap (Social transformation, employee engagement, skills management, recruitment, training,…), Group policies and programs (Compensation & Benefits, Talent, diversity, Engagement programs, …), in line with Lynxeo HR and business strategy. He / she advises and supports managers on all people related matters. He / she supports the BU and Plant Managers in bringing his / her expertise, co-leads the change.
Areas of responsibility
Business and HR transformation :
* Contributes to business strategy (strategic plan, SWOT…).
* Translates and coordinates 3-5 years Site and BU HR vision.
* Develops, coordinates, implements and ensures annual Site and BU HR roadmap.
* Communicates and leads the change management’s actions to support the Site and BU Visions.
* Follows the HR KPI (Absenteeism, Overtime, Total Cost of Employment….) and ensure the right level of performance.
* Coordinates people matters during business transformation (financial, organizational, social and legal, people impact analysis), defines actions plan and acts as a facilitator (communication…).
Staffing & Succession Planning
1. Anticipates and launches the required Staffing
2. Implements a continuous workforce planning
3. Leads the annual succession planning process and considers, prepares the internal pool. Builds development plans to strengthen the readiness of identified short or long term successors.
4. Coordinates validation of open position requests.
5. Leads the interview process, supports site managers in the final selection.
6. Negotiates pay packages with candidates.
7. Prepares and deploys the induction program
Training, Performance & Remuneration and Reward
8. Supports and drives processes regarding leadership / career management / knowledge management and learning and development.
9. Manages the competencies / skills gap analysis for the site and leads the corrective actions.
10. According the BG / BU Strategy & the Site Vision, defines the guidelines for learning & development actions (coaching, mentoring, training, e-learning...).
11. Supports sites managers in the performance process, ensures that all employees have a performance review and an appropriate development plan (in line with the gap analysis and business requirements). Follows their realization.
12. Ensures positions are regularly graded in line with the Group’s methodology.
13. Implements the annual salary review process for the plant working with the plant manager, & ensures the process and outcome is clearly communicated in line with local rules and policy
Work environment, social relations & employment engagement
14. Follows the Health & Safety results with the HSE Manager and ensures the deployment of the right actions to improve it.
15. Contributes with local management to labor relations approach.
16. Ensures the compliance the social and legal rules.
17. Is responsible for individual and collective bargaining.
18. Is responsible for labor agreements negotiation, their communication and deployment.
19. Performs complaint, discipline and conflict management.
20. Acts as a relay and is responsible for internal communication with employees (Vision, Business events, Group programs & initiatives,…).
21. Deploys the employee survey, analyses the results with the management committee, communicates the results and define the actions plan for the site.
Position
22. Headcount of the site : 200, headcount of the Business Unit : circa 450.
23. Direct reports : 1
24. Reports to the Automation BU Manager, and functionally to Lynxeo CHRO.
Required skills and qualifications
25. Minimum 7+ years experience as HR Specialist / Manager in an industrial site
26. Fluent in English (mandatory) as they will belong to a BU HR community + local language
27. Strong leadership and people management

32. Ability to assess / develop people
33. Resilience and ability to adapt and cope with change
34. Ability to work with multiple people / projects concurrently

36. The position is both local (Pioltello site) and Global (Automation Business Unit)
37. There is no direct reporting line between this position, and the HR Managers of the other Automation locations (Nuremberg, Suzhou, Providence) as Plant HR Managers are attached to a Country organization, respectively Germany, China, and the United States.
38. A strong ability to influence is required, to ensure the Automation BU HR actions are consistent and coherent.
39. The ability to understand the Automation Business, from a technical and financial standpoint, will allow candidate to gain influence and guide the efforts of his / her HR peers.
