We are supporting the appointment of a General Manager for an established FMCG manufacturing business in Italy. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L ownership, reporting at regional leadership level.
The role will lead a sizeable Italian operation, with responsibility for driving commercial growth, profitability, and organisational performance across branded, private label, and foodservice channels.
The Role
* Full ownership of P&L and business performance in Italy
* Define and execute commercial and growth strategy across multiple channels
* Lead sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain functions
* Identify and develop new markets and channels, including foodservice
* Act as the senior leader for the Italian business, aligning local execution with group objectives
* Inspire and develop a long-tenured organisation through strong leadership and communication
The Profile
* Senior FMCG leader with proven P&L ownership (GM, MD, Country Manager, BU Director or similar)
* Strong commercial background, ideally within food manufacturing
* Exposure to retail, private label, and/or foodservice environments
* Solid understanding of operations and supply chain
* Able to operate effectively in matrix and entrepreneurial environments
* Fluent Italian required
* Based in Naples
