PpAre you a brilliant mind with an interest in Information Technology? Would you like to challenge yourself in a dynamic international environment? Ecolab is looking for an IT Support Apprentice who can efficiently support our IT team, contributing to the ongoing success of the company. This is a great chance to work with IT and Global support teams on IT projects to support our internal customers. /p pJoin our IT team in Ecolab Italy as an IT Support Apprentice based in our office in Vimercate. Ecolab’s IT teams leverage advanced technologies and methodologies across multiple domains including customer collaboration, end user computing, enterprise resource planning, cyber security, and business analytics, partnering with our businesses to deliver results. Our interns develop essential business and IT skills by actively supporting projects and programs that enable breakthrough results for Ecolab’s businesses. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liUnder direct supervision you will be responsible for providing support to IT users /li liYou will use basic analysis techniques to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as assisting in performing root cause analysis on problems /li liUsing remote control software, you will provide onsite and cross-border support /li liConduct regular interaction with IT users using customer service skills and communication skills /li liWork with other support functions on projects and activities related to IT. /li liLiaise with partners and vendors on IT related user support. Like for example, open incidents with HP support for hardware maintenance. /li liConform with ITIL processes and ensuring that all incidents are addressed efficiently, and proper system logging is maintained. /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform basic incident and problem analysis as required to resolve incidents and requests /li liPerform hardware and software change requests as assigned /li liPerform implementation support as required /li liAttend end user meetings as requested to provide local support to users /li liWork with IT and Global support teams to act as a local IT resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability level /li /ul h3Qualifications Skills /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant area /li liExperience in cybersecurity is a plus /li liExcellent knowledge of English language (verbal written communication).
