To strengthen our Procurement and Purchasing Department, we are looking for a bProcurement Specialist /b to join our team. /p h3The Role /h3 pThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and developing the supplier base while ensuring the effective procurement of raw materials, mechanical components, and external machining services. /p pThe role contributes to strategic sourcing activities, supplier performance improvement, cost optimization, and supply continuity, working closely with internal stakeholders to support Tecnord’s production and business objectives. /p pbReports to: /b Procurement and Purchasing Manager /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage sourcing and procurement activities for assigned commodity categories. /li liConduct supplier scouting, qualification, and development activities. /li liManage the RFQ process, perform quotation analysis, and support supplier selection decisions. /li liNegotiate commercial terms and long-term supply conditions. /li liMonitor supplier performance through KPIs (quality, delivery reliability, cost competitiveness). /li liIdentify and implement cost reduction and value engineering initiatives. /li liCollaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure alignment between procurement strategies and operational needs. /li liContribute to supplier risk management and supply chain resilience. /li liSupport procurement planning and budgeting activities. /li liManage purchase orders and ensure proper follow-up through the ERP system. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent technical/business background.High School Diploma /p h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liKnowledge of industrial manufacturing processes (machining, turning, mechanical components). /li liAbility to interpret technical drawings. /li liBasic knowledge of sourcing methodologies and supplier evaluation processes. /li /ul h3Language Skills /h3 pGood command of English (minimum B2 level). /p h3Software Skills /h3 pProficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. /p h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong negotiation and analytical skills /li liResults-oriented mindset /li liAbility to manage supplier relationships /li liProblem-solving attitude /li liCross-functional collaboration /li liAutonomy and accountability /li /ul h3Preferred Skills /h3 ul liPrevious experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing within the manufacturing or metalworking sector. /li liExperience in supplier development or cost reduction initiatives. /li liKnowledge of the hydraulics industry is considered a strong plus. /li /ul pbLocation: /b Modena (MO) /p h3Application instructions /h3 pWe encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of age, gender, disability, or ethnicity.
