The successful candidate will play a key role in providing technical support and assistance to local IT users, local IT systems and ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with the Local IT coordinator, the central IT organization and external IT service providers. Key responsibilities include: /pulliProvide first-level support to local IT users, resolving day-to-day issues related to hardware, software, network, and selected applications. /liliInstall, configure, and maintain local IT equipment, such as computers, printers, scanners, phones, etc. /liliMonitor and troubleshoot local IT systems, such as servers, network devices, backup systems, etc. /liliSupport the Local IT coordinator in ensuring compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures which are primarily provided from the central IT department. /liliDocument and report IT incidents, requests, and changes. /liliEscalate complex or unresolved IT issues to the central IT organization or external IT service providers. /liliCoordinate and collaborate with the Local IT Coordinator, the central IT organization and external IT service providers on IT projects, initiatives, and service delivery. /liliProvide feedback and suggestions to improve IT services and user satisfaction. /liliStay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies. /liliConduct training for local users (as required) /liliOther (local) duties as assigned /li /ulpbr/ppQualifications and experience /ppMandatory requirements /pulliAssociate or bachelor’s degree (or comparable qualification) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. /liliProven experience (3-5 years) as an IT support technician or specialist, better if within the automotive or (discrete) manufacturing industry. /liliStrong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and network technologies. /liliExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team. /liliAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. /liliFluent Italian and English is a must. /li /ulpbr/ppBeneficial experience and qualifications /pulliCertifications or training in IT support, ITIL, or other relevant areas. /liliExperience in working with global or regional IT teams and service providers. /li /ul
