Embedded Software Engineer, AWS Annapurna Labs. Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company, is looking for talented engineers to develop a semiconductor platform based on a revolutionary architecture. As a member of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. You’ll have the opportunity to work on high-end systems powering AWS with a focus on reliability and security.
Annapurna Labs’ Linux Kernel development team is seeking a talented Linux kernel expert with embedded systems experience to join us in building the high-end AWS NITRO system. You’ll develop kernel drivers and share your code with the Linux community, working at a scale that demands strict reliability and security.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of experience in embedded software development
* Strong programming skills in C, Python, etc.
* Familiar with Linux kernel (drivers, networking, I/O, monitoring)
* Deep understanding of computer architecture
* Experience with HW/SW interfaces
* B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
* Personal characteristics: team player, highly motivated, able to work in a dynamic and demanding environment, and a fast learner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with SoC development life cycle
* Strong problem solving and debugging skills
