Based at our Milan Headquarters (near the Molino Dorino station), we are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee financial control activities across all our Group entities. You will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting principles, and enabling data-driven decision-making at the executive level. You will partner with key business stakeholders to support the company’s strategic and operational goals.
How You Will Contribute
* Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate group-level financial reporting and management information systems.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets and periodic forecasts across various business units.
* Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance and key variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
* Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with other executives to support long-term planning and strategic decision-making.
* Process & Controls: Ensure robust internal controls, financial processes, and KPIs across the Group, integrating and aligning information workflows within newly acquired subsidiaries.
* Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Special Projects: Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, including ERP upgrades, automation, and performance improvement initiatives.
How You Will Succeed
* Experience: 4–6 years of experience in management control or FP&A, ideally within international or multi-entity environments. Prior consulting experience is a strong plus.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and/or local GAAP). Proven track record in group consolidation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
* Tools: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Hands-on experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI).
* Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels. Comfortable navigating complex organizations and cross-border collaboration.
* Education & Languages: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Fluent in Italian and English.
* Bonus Points: Experience with capital markets, investor relations, or M&A is considered a significant advantage.
