Do Work That Matters - Your role and responsibilities At KPMG, you will help clients, the company, and colleagues address complex challenges in business transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis, and financial transactions. Join the Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Sustainability Services team to transform risks into opportunities, improve governance systems, and offer innovative strategic risk management solutions. Support companies in defining governance and organizational structures for digital transformation, focusing on risk management and internal controls, especially in the financial reporting sector, serving clients in the Verona region within the Consumer & Industrial Markets sector. Responsibilities include: Sustainability regulatory analysis and benchmarking Defining sustainability and shared value strategies and plans Sustainability reporting: conducting dual materiality analysis and preparing reports aligned with CSRD, ESRS, GRI, and SASB standards Developing and implementing sustainability strategies, setting targets and actions Compiling ESG ratings and defining improvement plans Calculating carbon footprints and developing decarbonization strategies Analyzing economic activities according to European environmental taxonomy (Regulation 2020/852) Developing climate transition plans: governance, financial planning, scenario analysis, and target setting Developing ESG governance and organizational models Assessing sustainability risks, including climate change, and integrating them into business models Managing sustainable supply chains: policies, assessments, ESG audits Conducting ESG and Human Rights due diligence in compliance with international regulations Your skills and characteristics This role is ideal if you: Have knowledge of sustainability and climate change topics Possess at least one year of experience in consulting, ESG ratings, or related industries Are fluent in English, with international study or work experience preferred Are innovative, quality-focused, and excel professionally Have strong Microsoft Office skills What you’ll find at KPMG An inclusive, diverse work environment Hybrid work arrangements for work-life balance Advanced training and development programs An international mindset and innovative projects Initiatives for mental and physical well-being Our values and commitment Leadership, teamwork, respect, continuous learning, transparency, community commitment, and integrity define our environment, fostering idea sharing and professional growth.
