IT Data Governance Analyst page is loaded## IT Data Governance Analystlocations: Hometime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-16106## **Job Posting Title**IT Data Governance Analyst## **Job Description**The IT Data Governance Analyst is responsible for delivering and maintaining metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship solutions for Prime data assets. This position also identifies and delivers team process improvements and operational efficiencies.**Responsibilities*** Provide advanced data analyses and subject matter expertise on data domain working teams to support delivery of data governance solutions* Curate and organize business and technical metadata across multiple data domains for enterprise consumption* Conduct data governance standard operating procedures to proactively and responsively maintain the quality of data so that it is fit for business use* Lead data governance working team discussions and activities for assigned data domains to achieve alignment and clarity about Prime data assets* Implement and administer data governance technologies that enable end users to self-sufficiently maximize their understanding and utilization of Prime data assets* Provide input into recommended data governance approaches and practices to be adopted by Prime* Train and mentor other team members on team practices and processes* Other duties as assigned**Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience* 2 years of work experience in data analysis, data governance or information management* Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship**Additional Qualifications*** Experience with OvalEdge or similar data governance tool* Effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience* Ability to be concise and right-size communication for the intended audience* Ability to identify trends and perform root cause analysis* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Self-directed, organized and able to manage time effectively* Strong collaboration skills**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with data preparation, report, and dashboard technologies* Experience with developing and/or administering data governance technologies* 2 years experience writing advanced SQLEvery employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and proceduresEvery employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship.
