We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our team in the final stages of detailed design for large-scale EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and verifying piping isometrics derived from 3D models using AVEVA E3D.
Main Responsibilities
* Design and Development: Create 3D models of piping systems using AVEVA E3D, adhering to project specifications, piping classes, and design standards.
* Piping Isometric Drawings: Develop and issue piping isometric drawings from the E3D model.
* Design Criteria: Apply design criteria related to layout, space management, maintainability, and safety.
* Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Interface with other disciplines (Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) to ensure full integration of the piping model.
* Clash Detection: Detect and resolve clashes within the 3D environment.
* Mark-ups and Modifications: Implement mark-ups and modifications coming from field surveys, vendor updates, or client comments.
* Support Design Teams: Support stress analysis and support design teams when required.
* Model Reviews: Participate in model reviews and coordination meetings.
Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Piping Designer in EPC projects.
* Aveva E3D: Proven experience with AVEVA E3D (or PDMS, with recent E3D exposure).
* Piping Knowledge: Good knowledge of piping materials, components, and support standards.
* Isometric Issuance Phase: Experience in the isometric issuance phase.
* P&IDs and Plot Plans: Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, plot plans, and piping classes.
* International Codes: Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
* Language Proficiency: English and Italian language proficiency (written and spoken).
