Job Purpose and Impact The Technology Application Specialist - Robot will deploy technologies by supporting interactions with clients and prospective customers and help them understand how the organization can provide solutions for them and improve profitability. In this role, you will ensure that new technologies and tools are utilized to provide competitive customer focused solutions. Key Accountabilities Develop core expertise on milking robot programming to enhance the organization’s position with dairy farmers owning milking robots. Transfer knowledge, organizing dedicated trainings on milking robots, to sales and technical colleagues. Establish and cultivate effective relationships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones. This includes a clear mapping of the actual and potential Italian market regarding robotic farms. Provide commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments with continuous updates on the latest news on robotic management at farm level. Support sales efforts to understand and solve complex customer issues in programming and elaborate outcomes (KPI) from the farm management software related to robotic milking machines. Support the Italian Strategic Marketing &Technology department in developing and proof new nutritional solutions/products dedicated to robotic systems. Independently solve moderately complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Working together with Product managers and technical sales team to demonstrate the value proposition of our added value solutions, to gain a leader positioning in the market despite to our competitors. Communication and soft skills are required to work closely with different people and teams across the organization. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with different brands of milking robots (Lely, De Laval, GEA, TDM etc) Intermediate oral and written communication skills in English and collaboration skills.
