PpThe Grid Works Site Manager reports to Cero Project Manager (CPM) for all grid connection activities (Grid Connection Works), ensuring the delivery of works in the TSO substation, The User step-up substation, MV and HV cable route, and associated works safely, to the required quality, and in compliance with project requirements through effective programme management, technical coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The role is central to achieving safety, quality, compliance, and timely energisation across all grid works. /p pThe GWSM will report to the CPM and work closely with the Cero Grid Team (Senior Grid Manager) and other project stakeholders. /p h3Key objectives include: /h3 ul liActing as the site manager for the Grid Works. /li liServing as the single point of contact between the CPM, the network operator during execution, and other key parties such as EPC Contractor, permitting authorities, Cero EPC Grid Manager etc.. /li liEnsuring a credible and coordinated works programme is in place to, align lead times, and meet energisation dates. /li liCoordinating key workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring technical and contractual compliance. /li liProviding client oversight of technical submissions, quality and safety documentation, and progress reporting. /li liWorking closely with the Cero Project Manager, Grid Manager, to integrate grid works into the wider project delivery /li liPresence on site at the least four days/week /li /ul h3Project Programme Management /h3 pThe key objectives are to ensure that a project planning is in place to allow for the project to meet its connection timelines within the contractual quality and budget. /p pThis will be achieved by: /p ul liEnsuring programme reflects connection dates from TSO and stated in the EPC contract. /li liEquipment lead times are fully accounted for. /li liWorks methods statements are sufficiently developed to ensure that they are feasible and fit within required outages windows as well as other constraints. /li liActing as the main interface with the TSO project manager coordinating technical and programme management activities /li liProvide all reporting requirements to Project Manager (e.g. monthly reports, minutes of meetings, organising meetings and general communications) /li liWork with Cero project manager to produce regular programmes and schedules required by TSO. /li liChair the weekly/monthly EPC Contractor Progress Meeting /li liSupport Cero in TSO - related meetings as required. /li liProvide oversight and advisory support on the management of all grid related works /li liTrack and Monitor progress against the overall construction programme and highlight risks to schedule. Suggest and implement mitigation measures where required to CPM /li liFill in and update project risk register with key risks and mitigations. /li liVerification of work schedules, as well as delivery schedules for goods and services, to prevent potential delays /li /ul h3Technical and Design Interfaces /h3 ul liCoordinate technical communications and submissions with Terna, e-distribuzione as applicable, and other relevant authorities. /li liOversee technical submissions to ensure completeness and compliance with Italian standards and project requirements. /li liLiaise with internal stakeholders (Cero Project Team) and external parties (EPC, OE, ICP, site teams). /li liProvide expert advisory support on TSO processes, specifications, and technical standards. /li /ul h3Site Works – Cable Duct Installation /h3 ul liAct as the client’s lead and on-site representative for all grid works, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved specifications and drawings, method statements, and risk assessments. /li liPrepare internal reports monitoring that milestones of the contract are ok for payments. /li liSupervise and witness key inspections, hold points, and tests (including FAT/SAT). /li liMonitor construction and installation works (civil, structural, electrical, commissioning) for all HV/MV infrastructure. /li /ul h3Health, Safety Environmental (HSE) Support /h3 ul liTo support the HSE manager for the project highlighting constraints and risks concerning the Grid Connection Works /li liAssist the HSE Manager in identifying and reporting any conditions that could pose risks or hazards to the Grid Connection Works. /li /ul h3Quality Assurance Testing /h3 ul liInspect installation of major equipment and ensure as-built documentation is accurate. /li liReview and comment on commissioning procedures and switching plans. /li liWitness commissioning of HV/MV systems, including protection, SCADA, and Power Park Controllers. /li liSupport confirmation of energisation milestones (EON, ION, FON or Italian equivalents). /li /ul h3Documentation Reporting /h3 ul liMaintain oversight of all technical and contractual submissions. /li liTrack and report progress against programme milestones. /li liEnsure all as-built documentation, records, and compliance data are properly delivered and filed. /li liMaintain a daily/weekly log of site activities, issues, and progress. /li liEscalate risks to schedule, quality, or compliance, with proposed mitigations /li /ul pThe GWSM will provide technical observations and recommendations and will have authority to coordinate with contractors and escalation issues as required. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
