This role focuses on shaping end‑to‑end data architecture across ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics, leveraging Fabric’s unified data foundation and Azure’s cloud‑native capabilities. Your work will enable SSE to modernize its data estate, improve operational intelligence, and support critical initiatives in energy distribution, sustainability, and grid modernization within a highly regulated environment. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liInput into and drive the creation of go‑to‑market propositions and services in Data Architecture /li liSupport client partners and practice leads in pre‑sales activities /li liLead complex client engagements /li liAct as a go‑to practitioner in delivering projects in the Data Architecture field /li liData Architecture Frameworks /li liDefining end‑to‑end Data Architectures /li liLeading and developing architecture teams /li liJoining the dots between Business, Technology and Data architectures /li liInput into the shaping of Data Architecture engagements /li liDeliver Data Architecture engagements with/ for our clients /li liRemain up to date with the continuous evolution in the Data Architectures and ensure that this knowledge is made available to the wider Data Intelligence practice /li liBusiness Relationships: Client partners, practice leaders and members /li liPeer level relationships within client organisations up to Chief Data Architect, CIO, CDO level /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring Along /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Engineerring, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline /li liMinimum 5 years in data architecture, engineering, or consulting roles, with 1-2 years in Microsoft Fabric solution architecture /li liExtensive experience with Microsoft Fabric core features /li liProficiency in cloud ecosystems (Specifically Azure, optionally AWS and GCP are an advantage) and infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform) /li liStrong background in databases, data warehouses, and distributed processing frameworks /li liFamiliarity with BI and data exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Talend) /li liExperience with data security, governance, and compliance frameworks /li liExpertise in large‑scale ETL/ELT pipeline implementation using custom and packaged tools /li liMust‑Have Competencies /li li5+ years data architecture experience – Enterprise‑scale solutions across multiple sectors with proven delivery track record /li liProven expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients /li liStrong consulting values with the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders /li liHands‑on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI/analytics tools /li liDeep understanding of the data lifecycle (ingestion, storage, processing, governance, consumption) /li liAbility to link business objectives with technology strategy and execution /li liStrong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills /li liExperience leading data modernisation initiatives across the Utility sector /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
