Provision of IT Support services for the development and operation of the local IT environments for the project SuFiA (JRC.2)Collaboration with the Directorate D ICT Team to manage and develop ICT centralized serviceInstallation, configuration and maintenance of servers' operating systemsPerforming minor (patching) and major Operating System upgrades as requested, in compliance with the Commission IT security policies and best practicesPerforming preliminary diagnosis of software and hardware problems, also in co‐ordination with the central IT departmentsScripting & configurations in context of systems & infrastructure; install, configure and maintain system scripting proceduresHandling of backups and restore operations of systems & infrastructure; manage the specific SuFiA backup infrastructureAdministration of scientific users in line with JRC ICT policiesMonitoring of and responding to system and application logs (error logs, disk checks, virus‐malware checks)Maintaining technical documentationProvision of capacity planning analysis.
