PbJob Description /b /ppJunior Engineer /ppFugro Italy is looking for a Junior Engineer that performs all office and field related survey assignments as instructed. /ppThe Junior Engineer continues to receive further theoretical and practical training, on- and offshore to broaden experience and develop wider understanding of technical scope of work. /ppOn projects, he receives instructions from the team leader or the assigned person in charge. /ph3Primary Duties and Responsibilities /h3h3Operations /h3olliAssist Party Chief / Team Leader with the execution of given work and tasks. /liliOrganize own work in specific cases. /liliCan complete mobilization and calibration activities as required during a designated project in accordance with the FAL Staff Competency Matrix. /liliUnderstands the basic operations and theory behind Surface Positioning and Subsea Positioning or Geophysical Survey (as applicable). /liliCan complete and carry out projects involving Surface Positioning and Subsea Positioning or Geophysical Survey (as applicable) to the standard as dictated in the FAL Staff Competency Matrix. /liliExecute given work in accordance with specifications, procedures and work practices during a normal working shift (12 hours). /liliExecute repairs, maintenance and testing of equipment in use. /liliActively participate in implementation of QC procedures in the field environment. /liliContinue learning and observing all aspects of more advanced operational work and tasks. /li /olh3Financial /h3olliAccount for own project and business-related expenditure. /li /olh3Administration /h3olliAssist with maintenance of field survey administration and field filing system in accordance with work practices. /liliEnsure time spent on projects is properly accounted for. /liliEnsure expense accounts are correctly completed and accounted for. /liliResponsible for timely submission of own work reports for payroll and attendance matters. /li /olh3QHSSE /h3olliActively participate in adherence to and improvement of the company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues. /li /olh3Specific Additional Duties /h3olliContinue participating in in-house and external training courses. /li /olh3Principal Working Relationships /h3olliWork with higher grade field staff to ensure projects are completed to client’s specifications. /liliMeet with own staff on a regular basis to monitor job progress. /liliMeet with Survey Manager for selected project debriefs, Staff Development Interviews and if applicable personal Performance Appraisal discussion. /liliDiscuss further training requirements with the FAL Technical Trainer. /liliMeet with QHSSE coordinator for QA discussions, feedback, training. /li /olh3Education and Experience Requirements /h3olliB.Sc. level or Diploma in engineering or survey related education or sufficient related experience. /liliRelevant experience (minimum 1 year). /liliConversant with computer operation and a basic knowledge of application software. /liliBasic English language (Written and Verbal). /li /ol #J-18808-Ljbffr
