Key Responsibilities
Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrationsExecute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)Conduct server racking, stacking, and labelingPerform cross‐connects and patch panel workTroubleshoot connectivity and hardware issuesDocument all work with photos and detailed notesCoordinate with remote NOC and client teams
Qualifications
2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experienceStrong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single‐mode/multi‐mode fiber)Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environmentsOwn transportation and ability to work on‐siteProfessional communication skills in EnglishData center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) – preferredNetwork certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) – preferredExperience with DCIM and ticketing systems – preferredFamiliarity with major colocation providers – preferredStandard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment
