Position Overview

The Group Accounting Supervisor oversees the accounting operations and financial reporting of all entities within the group. This role ensures the timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements, in compliance with relevant accounting standards (OIC, US GAAP and IFRS mainly) and implementation of effective internal controls. In this role you will report and collaborate with the Group Financial Controller by overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, global consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards. The Group Accounting Supervisor reports to the Group Financial Controller and collaborates with internal teams, auditors and external consultants supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial system management.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes for all group entities.
* Ensure all financial reporting is compliant with IFRS, OIC, and US GAAP, with particular attention to the accounting management of foreign subsidiaries, especially the one based in the United States.
* Support the preparation of audit documentation and manage the audit process at both local entity level and consolidated level.
* Liaising with auditors for this area of responsibility.
* Implement, monitor, and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulations.
* Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of the cash flow
* Overview bank accounting activities.
* Overview intercompany postings and reconciliations.
* Support group tax compliance with reference to Transfer Pricing, including liaising with local external consultants.

Qualifications

A great candidate will have:

* BS degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
* Strong expertise in IFRS and US GAAP, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance to ensure accurate financial statements.
* Deep understanding of financial close process, global consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.
* Demonstrate strong ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of more efficient and effective accounting procedures across the group.
* Ability to liaise with auditors, ensure proper documentation, and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
* Hands-on experience with financial software (e.g., Navision) for accounting, reporting and treasury management.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams, auditors, and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.
* High Attention to detail & accuracy.

* Proficiency in any other language will be considered as a plus
