Ph3COMMODITY MANAGER ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS /h3 pThe Commodity Manager is responsible for defining and developing the procurement strategy for a group of commodities. /p pIn this role, you will be accountable for managing the commercial relationships with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders, with the objective of minimizing the total cost of ownership and maximizing the quality and the reliability of the supply chain. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for Tier 2 electronic components based on market dynamics and technology trends /li liBuild strong relationships with component manufacturers and distributors to secure supply continuity and access to innovation /li liNegotiate agreements balancing cost, quality, and long-term availability /li liMonitor electronic component market trends (e.g., lead times, allocation risks, obsolescence) and proactively adapt sourcing strategies /li liCollaborate with RD and engineering to influence component selection and design choices /li liManage lifecycle risks, including obsolescence and end-of-life strategies /li liDrive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability metrics /li liWork cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams /li liDeliver on key KPIs (cost savings, NOWC, PPM, supplier consolidation, contract coverage) /li liAct as the interface with internal electronics manufacturing site to align sourcing with production needs /li /ul h3What’s Needed For You To Thrive /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, in addition Business Administration is a plus. /li liMinimum 3 years of experience procurement and purchasing within a global organization, mainly in Electrical/Electronic Commodities /li liExperiences in adjacent disciplines such as Electronic Engineering/Design, Supply Chain, RD are also welcomed. /li liProficiency in Microsoft office. /li liAbility to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment /li liExcellent listening, verbal and written communication skills /li liAbility to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines /li liWilling to travel /li liFluent in English; Knowledge of other language (specifically French) is considered an advantage /li /ul h3What’s In It For You /h3 ul liBe part of a company grounded in customer focus, sustainability leadership, innovation, and social impact.
