The role also has responsibility for the strategic sourcing of all non-global spend categories. /p pThe Procurement Operations Senior Manager is accountable for delivering financial value and operational excellence across Avis Budget Group’s rental locations throughout Italy, Portugal, and Spain, ensuring procurement activities effectively support business performance, cost efficiency, and service quality. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 pbVendor Engagement Relationship Management /b /p ul liOwn end to end supplier relationship lifecycle process from onboarding through exiting for products and services across all Italy, Portugal and Spain rental locations. /li liBuild and sustain strong supplier relationships that enable continuous improvement in service of ABG’s operational and financial objectives. /li liServe as the primary escalation point for vendor/client issues, including urgent orders and continuity challenges. /li /ul pbValue Capture Strategic Initiatives /b /p ul liLead value capture initiatives with a focus on Design to Value across key spend pools. /li liPartner with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and service. /li liContinuously identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within procurement operations. /li /ul pbOperational Leadership Risk Management /b /p ul liEnsure procurement operations run efficiently across ~1,000 distributed locations, resolving day-to-day operational challenges. /li liAct decisively during disruptions, including rapidly selecting or onboarding new vendors to maintain business continuity. /li liDevelop and monitor operational KPIs to ensure vendor accountability and alignment with business goals. /li /ul h3You Should Apply If You Bring /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. /li li10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with a strong focus on vendor management and day-to-day operational execution. /li liDemonstrated success managing vendor relationships across a large, distributed network of sites. /li liStrategic and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to build consensus and align diverse stakeholders. /li liStrong leadership skills, with experience leading and managing high-performing cross-functional teams. /li liExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. /li /ul pBolzano, Italy /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
