The Inventory Controller oversees inventory management processes and resolves issues that arise. This position identifies, analyzes and addresses gaps in inventory processes.
Responsibilities:
* Inventory accuracy- reconciliation of inventory transactions at the location level to ensure accurate reporting of on-hand inventory.
* Collaborate with both domestic and international warehouse/ filler management on all inventory related issues.
* Perform monthly inventory reconciliations at designated locations.
* Perform adjustments to inventory.
* Perform item reconciliations.
* Other related duties as assigned.
* Collaborates with supply planners, material planners, third party warehouse management and fillers to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment and reporting of transfer orders and receipts.
* Perform inventory classification based on ageing reporting, highlighting critical cases.
Required Education/Experience:
* 1+ year of experience in related area required.
Required Qualifications:
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and focus on the quality of work.
* Establish, develop and maintain positive business and vendor/supplier relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Flexible and ability to adapt to different workspaces- office, internal and external warehouses.
