OverviewOur customer is an international company which is a part of an important corporate group.
We are looking for a Finance Controller who will support the Finance Director in compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies at the local level.ResponsibilitiesProvide financial insight to the plant Finance Director.Analyze cost center expenses and support discussions with cost center managers.Support in the definition of improvement actions.Support financial data analytics to identify trends, potential risks or improvement areas within the plant level.Support the preparation of local financial statements (local GAAP and IFRS if applicable).
Support the Plant Finance Director in applying internal risk controls (ICS) on the plant level.Support Plant Finance Director in local CAPEX management according to group guidelines and DoA.Support CAPEX evaluation with preparation of Business Cases and CAPEX planning.Support Investment Controlling (Time, Cost, Impact) and capital project governance.Provide operational and production controlling on the local site.Perform financial data analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities at the site.Conduct Margin Analysis (analysis of margins for Business Units / Product Lines) including pre/post-calculation of orders.Report to Business Unit and Group Management; support development of the plant's annual budget.Support financial forecasting in coordination with other employees based on market trends and economic conditions.Control plant spending in line with budgets and identify cost-saving or profitability-increasing measures when necessary.Control plant capital expenditures in line with budgets and group guidelines.Assist with importing and validation of data.QualificationsDegree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or related discipline.3-5 years of experience in finance and controlling roles in an international environment.Fluent in English.Experience in the manufacturing industry and in international companies.Deep expertise in manufacturing controlling and planning, budgeting and forecasting.Expertise in investment / CAPEX management (business case planning, CAPEX planning, project controlling, impact controlling).
Deep expertise in data analytics and ability to handle big data to derive business insights and actions.Ability to understand business processes and an integrated business model with identification of improvement potential.LocationLocation: Arezzo Area
