Position
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our Business Development team. You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Retex’s clientele by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and negotiating and closing deals.
The Role You Will Play :
1. Strategic Vision: As a Business Development Director, you will be the driving force behind Retex’s growth, identifying and securing new business opportunities from potential clients. Your strategic insights will position Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication, fostering opportunities across our offerings.
2. Industry Expertise: By analyzing specific industries and attracting relevant prospects, you will create research, monitoring, and audits in coordination with relevant directors. Your expertise will ensure that Retex remains at the forefront of industry trends, delivering tailored solutions to meet clients' needs.
3. Client-Centric Approach: You will promote our products and services by addressing or predicting clients’ objectives, developing value propositions based on their needs using a consultative, systemic, and multidisciplinary approach. Building rapport and collaboration will be key to your success.
4. Sales Excellence: Developing sales strategies for prospects, you will identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling related to new services/products. Your negotiation skills and commercial awareness will drive the sales process from plan to close.
5. Project Management: You will oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion, including participating in RFPs and maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Requirements
While you may not have all these qualities, we believe you would excel in this role with these characteristics:
* At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or relevant role, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience with clients in sectors such as Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
* Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to drive the process from plan to close.
* Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2).
* Proactive, organized, and able to build rapport and collaborate effectively internally and externally.
