Role Overview Within the Global IT Workplace Operation team, the Global Workplace Operation Team Leader is responsible for the following activities:
Resolve incidents escalated by local IT and Global Service Desk
Track resolution of incidents and requests
Administer systems, test, install and release various applications
Share personal experiences of support and technical expertise with local IT and Global Service Desk through communication or knowledge base articles and documentation
Key Responsibilities
Support Microsoft Windows 11
Support core collaborative applications (Microsoft Office 365, Citrix, Printix, …)
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Be independent in troubleshooting and finding solutions, applying them accordingly with company rules
Help and advise users on appropriate action
Support and train Local IT teams and Global Service Desk
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Track and route incidents and requests
Document resolution processes and procedures (How to…)
Follow tickets with third‑party vendors (Microsoft, Dell, …)
Work in cooperation with the SME team (Subject Matter Expert)
Follow release of applications and changes
Embrace the strategy defined by management and make it one’s own
Qualifications and Experience
5 years in a workplace supporting environment
Experience with PCs and peripherals
Proficiency with Windows 11
Proficiency with Office 365
End‑user support experience
Troubleshooting, optimization; Intune knowledge (nice to have)
Experience with asset management, following ITIL standards
Printing experience (nice to have)
Good knowledge of spoken and written English
