By delivering operational efficiencies and better results across a range of clinical service lines, we deliver better healthcare, with improved patient and staff experience at a lower cost. /ppAs a Backend QA Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and quality of our backend systems within complex infrastructures. /ph3Your role /h3ulliPlay a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality backend solutions that empower the business and enhance user satisfaction. /liliWork collaboratively within the RIS system test team to ensure seamless integration and performance of backend components. /liliPartner with developers, automation experts, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to drive robust, bug-free product releases. /liliDesign, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases for backend systems. /liliValidate complex database deployments, including replication, RAC clusters, and disaster recovery. /liliSet up and manage test environments using VMware vCenter/vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V. /liliPerform API testing with Postman and develop automation scripts using Python and PyTest. /liliTest backend integrations with F5 and Citrix NetScaler load balancers. /liliDocument test results, track defects, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. /liliA career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about benefits in your region. /li /ulh3You're the right fit if you /h3ulliHave 5+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on backend and infrastructure testing. /liliHold an ISTQB Foundation Certification. /liliHave experience as a QA Engineer with strong focus on backend and infrastructure testing. /liliHave proven hands-on expertise with Oracle Database installation, RAC (Real Application Clusters), and Data Guard. /liliHave practical experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V. /liliHave experience working with F5 and/or Citrix NetScaler load balancers. /liliHave strong SQL skills (queries, indexing, replication validation, performance analysis). /liliHave proven experience with API testing using Postman. /liliHave strong automation experience with Python and PyTest. /liliHave an understanding of high-availability and disaster recovery testing methodologies. /liliHave experience with CI/CD pipelines. /liliHave a strong level of English, both written and spoken. /liliYou are a strong team player with proven communication and collaboration skills. /liliYou have excellent troubleshooting abilities across databases, networks, and virtualized environments. /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant field /liliExperience with performance and load testing tools. /liliExperience with AWS and its services. /liliKnowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). /liliFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools. /li /ulpPlease submit your CV in English. /ph3How we work together /h3pWe believe that we are better together than apart.
