The role will act as an internal point of reference for all payroll-related matters, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper management of information flows between the company and the payroll provider, while working in close collaboration with the HR and Finance teams.Coordination and supervision of the external payroll provider for the Italian employee population (approximately 950 employees)Review and validation of payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy of salaries, contributions, taxes, and variable compensationManagement and monitoring of monthly and annual payroll deadlines (payroll close, adjustments, tax certificates, annual filings, etc.)Verification of payroll reconciliations and support to Finance with accounting reconciliationsManagement of administrative requirements and communications with external authorities (INPS, INAIL, pension funds, tax authorities), in cooperation with the payroll providerInternal support and advisory on labor law and compensation-related mattersManagement—when required—of payroll aspects related to global mobility (expatriates, inpatriates, international assignments, shadow payroll)Support for internal and external audits and verification of regulatory complianceMonitoring of regulatory updates and assessment of their impact on payroll processesPreparation of payroll and HR reportingWhat You Need To SucceedMust haveSolid experience in managing outsourced payroll and working with external providersExcellent knowledge of Italian payroll and labor and tax regulationsKnowledge of international payroll and global mobility dynamicsEducation: High School Diploma or Degree (preferably in Economic field)Professional experience: At least 10 years of experience in payroll, preferably gained in structured multinational organizationsLanguage: Fluent in Italian & English, both written and spoken (mandatory requirement)Soft SkillsExcellent team player with a strong collaborative attitudeHigh level of reliability, professionalism, and sense of responsibilityFlexibility and ability to work in complex, international environmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProactive, solution-oriented approachTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency in Excel and main HR/payroll systemsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality-oriented mindsetHaier Europe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
