With global projects managed in 55 countries – from Germany to Japan and across North America – customers have relied on Stem for nearly 20 years to maximize the value of their clean energy projects.What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a Senior Account Executive with a proven track record in solar, energy storage, hybrid projects, or related energy technology sectors to expand Stem’s presence in Italy. This is a high-impact role where you will take ownership of growing Stem’s footprint by hunting new opportunities, developing relationships from the ground up, and closing high-value deals, while also leveraging Stem’s existing pipeline, global network, and expert team support to accelerate near-term wins. You’ll have the autonomy to drive growth in your territory, with the mentorship and resources of an experienced international sales and engineering organization behind you. Success will come from your ability to open doors, create new opportunities, and win strategic accounts in one of Europe’s fastest-changing energy marketsResponsibilitiesBuild strong, trust-based relationships with project developers, EPCs, IPPs, and utilities.Identify, structure, and close new business opportunities across solar, storage, and hybrid projects.Represent Stem at key industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to structure competitive proposals.Act as a trusted advisor to energy stakeholders, presenting clear and compelling business cases for adopting Stem’s EMS, PPC, and asset management solutions.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.5+ years of sales experience in solar, storage, or energy (utility-scale experience strongly preferred)Deep understanding of Italy's energy market and regulatory environment; strong existing customer network is a plus.Proven track record of opening new accounts, expanding territory, and consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets.Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Italian and English required.Entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset with ability to work independently and as part of a global team.Willingness to travel within Italy and across Europe as needed.What We OfferAt Stem, you will work in a growing, innovative, mission-driven company with colleagues who are passionate about accelerating the clean energy transition.
